Facebook sotto accusa per la sifilide

In Gran Bretagna, sta tornando l’incubo della sifilide ed i social network sono gli indiziati principali di questo incubo. Primo tra tutti, ovviamente, il social in blue Facebook. Secondo quanto pubblicato da una ricerca inglese, infatti, negli ultimi anni c’è stato un aumento della patologia almeno del 400% rispetto ai contagi del passato. Il fulcro del contagio sarebbe quello concentrato nelle regioni di Sunderland, Durham e Teeside. Da queste aree, si nota che c’è il più influente numero di iscritti a Facebook e soprattutto il numero più alto di utenti “postatori”.
Il direttore della Pubblica Sanità di Teeside, Peter Kelly, avrebbe annunciato in una dichiarazione pubblica che c’è uno stretto legame tra i social network e l’aumento spropositato della sifilide il quelle regioni, e questo aumento sarebbe molto forte negli uomini tra i 25 ed i 30 anni, e nelle donne tra i 20 ed i 24 anni.


Secondo quanto accusato dal Direttore, i siti come Facebook permettendo di entrare in contatto in maniera sempre più veloce e nuova con persone diverse, danno nuovi spunti per incontri sessuali occasionali che sarebbero dannosi per la trasmissione delle malattie infettive.
La sifilide è una malattima molto pericolosa, che può causare danni in primis agli organi principali come cuore, polmoni, reni, e soprattutto al sistema nervoso centrale. Questa, aumenta di 7 volte la possibilità di contrarre l’AIDS, in un rapporto con una persona sieropositiva, e cioè portatrice del virus dell’HIV.
Facebook dalla sua si schiera con il sociale e raccomanda a tutti di evitare i rapporti non protetti, soprattutto con le persone conosciute on line per evitare contagi.

Dopo questa accusa, si parla di una possibilità che Facebook aggiunga alla sua grafica standard, oppure nello slogan iniziale della pagina di login, una dicitura in cui lo staff stesso del social network consiglierebbe a tutti gli utenti di evitare i rapporti occasionali perchè la struttura stessa non certifica e non è direttamente responsabile degli iscritti al sito.
