L’argomento caldo di settembre continua ad essere la sicurezza sui social network. Parliamo nel caso specifico dell’usatissimo Facebook, che pian piano sembra stia prendendo sempre più il posto dei telefoni cellulari dal canto della comunicazione interpersonale. Più aumentano le iscrizioni, più Mark Zuckerberg è fiero del suo aumentare di utenti (forse anche degli introiti economici) e più gli hacker si divertono a voler attaccare il sito.

A lanciare l’allarme sono le ricerche di Panda Labs, che ha scoperto e comunicato alla stampa un reale traffico di account Facebook che ha una base strategica in zona Romania ed Ucraina.
Tutti gli account di Facebook sarebbero a rischio. Secondo i Panda Labs, infatti, ci sono una serie di cyber criminali provenienti dall’Ucraina e dei “distributori” residenti in Romania che sono in grado di offrire “un’entrata” al 99% dei profili di Facebook ad un prezzo medio quasi irrisorio di soli 100 dollari l’uno.
Secondo i dettagli delle Forze dell’Ordine, nel traffico di identità che è stato scoperto da Panda, il pagamento a questo gruppo fornito di Hacker, avverrebbe attraverso i circuiti della Western Union, che automaticamente fa recapitare il contante direttamente in Ucraina. Si è però constatato che il portale contenente l’offerta pubblicizzata dagli hacker, non si trovi caricato su server ucraini, bensì è registrato a Mosca nella terra di Russia.

I dettagli precisi “dell’offerta”, vogliono che il costo dei dati dell’account cambino a seconda del profilo. Ad esempio, un profilo di personaggio pubblico oppure di un’azienda, costa di più di quello di un privato ed il numero di amici di quel contatto, incide notevolmente sul costo.
Chi è interessato ad acquistare questi profili, è intenzionato sicuramente a lavorare di spam o di minacce malware.

Purtroppo l’informazione data su questo argomento ed i provvedimenti non proprio immediati presi, hanno fatto si che negli ultimi giorni le richieste di acquisto di dati profilo siano aumentate vertiginosamente provocando un aumento del traffico economico illecito per gli hacker. Quindi, massima attenzione…
