Facebook Poke brevetto

Il termine “poke” è conosciuto in rete, e non solo, sin dagli albori di Facebook e poco meno di una settimana fa Mark Zuckerberg ed il suo team hanno provveduto a lanciare un’apposita app per iOS mirante, appunto, ad assegnare un valore effettivo e, si spera, anche definitivo, a quella feature tanto chiacchierata quanto, al contempo, incompresa annessa al celebre social network in blu.

A tal proposito, da poche ore a questa parte è stato possibile apprendere che il 21 dicembre dell’anno ancora in corso Facebook ha depositato tre brevetti negli Stati Uniti, quali Poke, Facebook Poke ed il nuovo logo di Poke impiegato, al momento, esclusivamente con la nuova app per i device mobile della mela morsicata.

La data di registrazione dei tre brevetti corrisponde esattamente a quella del rilascio dell’app Facebook Poke su App Store.

Il motivo in base al quale Mark Zuckerberg abbia deciso di brevettare un servizio che, così come già accennato, esisten sin dagli albori del celebre social network è da ricondurre all’abbandono dell’assegnazione del brevetto avvenuto, per motivi al momento non ancora chiari, a luglio dello scorso anno.

Il Poke, infatti, era già stato assegnato alla compagnia nel 2006 ma è molto probabile che in seguito Mark Zuckerberg e la sua squadra avessero pensato di abbandonare il servizio rinunciando quindi al brevetto.

Con il lancio della nuova applicazione si è poi reso nuovamente necessario presentare il brevetto presso l’ufficio marchi e brevetti statunitense in modo tale da poter tutelare la nuova applicazione che, appunto, si basa proprio su tale servizio.

Oltre che negli Stati Uniti Facebook ha poi provveduto ad avviare il procedimento necessario per il riconoscimento del brevetto anche in Europa dove la nuova app Facebook Poke è già stata lanciata ed è già in uso da un’ampia quantità di utenti.

  13. obviously like your website but you have to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth nevertheless I’ll certainly come back again.

  20. Hi, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, fantastic blog!
