Ieri sono entrate in funzione le “replies” di Facebook, conosciute anche con il nome di friends tag, perchè ci consentono di taggare gli amici nei nostri aggiornamenti di stato. Come già detto, il funzionamento è simile a quello delle replies di Twitter, basta scrivere un messaggio, aggiungere il simbolo “@” e le prime lettere del nome della persona che volete taggare. Il nome verrà completato automaticamente e il tag inserito nell’aggiornamento. Ma le similitudini con Twitter finiscono qui.

Facebook ha inserito un’altra novità nelle sue replies, che progressivamente sarà aggiunta a tutti gli aggiornamenti di stato e ai link: un lucchetto per la privacy. Accanto al nome della persona taggata può capitare di vedere il simbolo del lucchetto. Cliccandoci sopra sarà possibile scegliere chi può visualizzare il messaggio, se soltanto voi e quella persona, oppure tutti gli amici. Ma attenzione: se usate come browser Mozilla Firefox è possibile che il lucchetto non sia cliccabile, o che addirittura non compaia nel messaggio. Con Internet Explorer invece dovreste essere in grado di impostare le nuove opzioni di privacy con tranquillità.
