Facebook: la quotazione in borsa è prevista per il 18 maggio

La notizia non è ancora ufficiale ma la fonte risulta abbastanza attendibile: Facebook, il rinomato social network in blu, verrà quotato in borsa in data 18 maggio o, almeno, così sembrerebbe essere stando a quanto trapelato dal Wall Street Journal.

I top manager starebbero dunque provvedendo a mettere in luce i dettagli dell’IPO facenti riferimento al celebre gruppo mediante tutta una serie di incontri con il mondo della finanza in maniera tale da poter estendere il numero di informazioni facenti riferimento a Facebook e, di conseguenza, alle sue attività, ai suoi numeri e, ovviamente, anche al suo successo.

La quotazione potrebbe portare nelle casse di Facebook una cifra corrispondente addirittura a 10 miliardi di dollari sulla base di un valore di capitalizzazione corrispondente a 100 miliardi anche se secondo il parare di diversi osservatori sarebbe da ricomprendere tra i 50 ed i 60 miliardi.

Il Wall Street Journal ha inoltre fatto sapere che il prezzo delle azioni verrà fissato a titolo ufficiale solo e soltanto il giorno prima dell’apertura della quotazione in borsa anche se secondo le più recenti indiscrezioni queste dovrebbero avere un costo compreso tra i 28 ed i 35 dollari.

L’informazione in questione pare sia trapelata da una nuova comunicazione del gruppo alla SEC.

Prendendo in esame tale quotazione il valore di Facebook viene quindi proiettato tra i 77 e i 96 miliardi di dollari, una cifra questa di tutto rispetto ma che risulta leggermente al di sotto delle stime (secondo le prime proiezioni, infatti, il valore del gruppo sarebbe dovuto essere al di sopra dei 100 miliardi di dollari di capitalizzazione).

Sempre attenendosi a quanto reso noto dal Wall Street Journal saranno ben 337.4 milioni le azioni messe in vendita dal gruppo e Mark Zuckerberg in persona provvederà ad immettere sul mercato 30.2 milioni di azioni con un incasso complessivo che, secondo le stime, dovrebbe andarsi ad aggirare attorno al miliardo di dollari.
