Facebook portatore d’asma

La rivista scientifica “Lancet“, ha pubblicato la diagnosi fatta da un medico ad un giovane paziente campano che si era presentato all’Ospedale Cardarelli di Napoli, riportando gravi sintomi di mancanza del respiro. Le parole del dottore sono state: “Facebook e i social network in generale potrebbero essere una nuova fonte di stress psicologico, in grado di peggiorare i sintomi in persone depresse e asmatiche“. A seguito di questo incontro, insieme a quello con alcuni psichiatri, il giovane ha cominciato a non utilizzare più Facebook ed è migliorato in maniera molto rapida.


Le spiegazioni di questo fatto “scientifico”, sarebbero però racchiuse anche dietro un altro fattore. Sembra che il diciottene napoletano si sia lasciato da poco con la fidanzata, che immediatamente l’ha rimosso dagli amici di Facebook. Oltre a questo, si è divertita ad aggiungere tantissimi ragazzi di bell’aspetto. Secondo i medici, il giovane, geloso, è entrato in depressione con molta facilità, spingendosi fino al punto di crearsi una nuova identità falsa per farsi aggiungere dalla ex tra gli amici.


Riesce nel suo intento, ma con un grave problema: ogni qual volta si connette e visita le sue foto, i suoi commenti con altri uomini, i suoi attacchi d’asma si fanno sentire fortemente dal giovane.


Il test per scoprire il tutto è stato fatto, collegando il giovane ad un dispositivo di misurazione del flusso respiratorio, mentre era collegato a Facebook, ed il risultato è stato una chiara diminuzione del flusso del ben 20%.
