Facebook: nuovo gruppo per la dignità delle donne

Stanche dell’immagine femminile proiettata nel teleschermo della società, immagine sempre logorata dai media che rendono la donna un “oggetto” di telemarketing, d’attrazione e di sfruttamento, molte tra le più illustri donne italiane come Maria Luisa, Silvia Costa, Elena Doni (ed altre), hanno dato vita all’appello “Una Repubblica che rispetti le donne”. Un modo di dire basta a questa situazione e ridare una dignità al mondo femminile che anche in questi giorni, con l’esempio della vita privata del Presidente del Consiglio, è stato deteriorato. Anche Facebook è stato mobilitato con la creazione di un nuovo gruppo: “Aderisci all’appello “Per una Repubblica che rispetti le donne”.

Ecco cosa viene rivendicato nel gruppo:

Noi donne siamo una risorsa importante del Paese, dall’ambito familiare e sociale a quello professionale e istituzionale. Siamo in prima linea nell’impegno quotidiano di cura e di lavoro che svolgiamo con dedizione, competenza e serietà. Eppure oggi le donne assurgono agli onori delle prime pagine dei media se sono compiacenti verso i “potenti” e asservite ad un modello mercificato e lesivo dell’identità femminile. Se il presupposto è questo, per le donne italiane si prefigura un futuro difficile.

Non solo per la crisi economica di cui pagano, più degli uomini, lo scotto nel mercato del lavoro, ma soprattutto per la strisciante corruzione che aleggia, che gioca sull’apparenza come primo requisito dell’affermarsi, falsifica la valorizzazione dei talenti e tradisce le persone.
Siamo alla vigilia delle elezioni europee e guardiamo all’Europa come allo spazio dove si può agire per cambiare questa mortificante situazione. Per portare avanti uno sviluppo personale e sociale basato sulle pari opportunità e sul merito.

Ma come arrivare a questo obiettivo se i contenuti, le candidate e i candidati per il Parlamento Europeo sono oscurati nei media, da un lato dai “finti candidati” che non andranno a Bruxelles e dall’altro dalla insopportabile telenovela che purtroppo riguarda la quarta carica dello Stato.
Se a questo si aggiunge il malizioso bizantinismo con cui sono applicate le regole per i passaggi televisivi, non stupisce la perdurante disinformazione dei cittadini sulle elezioni europee.
Non esiste il confronto tra opinioni diverse, non è permesso un incontro aperto: ma, ci domandiamo, l’Europa non è il nostro futuro? E le donne non hanno, come sempre, la responsabilità educativa nei confronti dei cittadini d’Europa?

In una fase critica dell’Italia, che vede le donne reali alle prese con l’impoverimento delle famiglie, con la precarietà o la perdita del lavoro, con la riduzione delle risorse pubbliche nell’istruzione, nella formazione e nel welfare, si parla d’altro, si censurano i loro progetti e le loro aspettative.Diamo voce alle donne concrete, serie, costruttive, parliamo dei talenti delle donne impegnate in battaglie responsabili per il futuro dell’Europa, che interessa soprattutto i giovani e le famiglie.Il 2 giugno 1946 le donne italiane hanno esercitato per la prima volta il diritto di voto, contribuendo alla nascita della Repubblica Italiana. Un diritto che oggi sembra scontato eppure è stato una conquista difficile.

Oggi, 63 anni dopo, i principi costituzionali di uguaglianza, diritto al lavoro, dignità della persona appaiono ancora ampiamente inattuati e i toni della campagna elettorale in corso ne sono un’ennesima dimostrazione. Noi donne insignite di onorificenze al merito della Repubblica; noi donne impegnate nelle Istituzioni, nelle professioni e nel sociale; noi donne candidate al Parlamento Europeo;
vogliamo che il 2 Giugno, Festa della Repubblica, sia un’occasione per riaffermare il ruolo che la donna ha avuto nella costruzione della Repubblica Italiana.
Chiediamo agli uomini delle Istituzioni e della politica di condividere le ragioni e il senso profondo di questo Appello e di impegnarsi con noi per non tradire la fiducia e le aspettative delle nuove generazioni.
