Facebook: nuovi termini di servizio

E’ successo proprio due settimane fa. Facebook ha riaggiornato i suoi termini d’utilizzo. Importante soprattutto il trattamento dei dati degli utenti facenti parte del noto social network. Per fare maggiore chiarezza, lo stesso Zuckerberg ha voluto scrivere una lettera d’informazione, ecco che cosa dice.La nostra filosofia – ha così cominciato – è permettere alle persone di controllare e decidere con chi condividere le proprie informazioni. Quando una persona condivide informazioni su Facebook, deve prima garantire al social network una licenza che permetta l’utilizzo di queste, per mostrarle ad altre persone. Senza questa licenza, non possiamo aiutare gli utenti a condividere tali informazioni.

Una delle domande più importanti riguardanti i nuovi termini di utilizzo, riguarda al fatto se Facebook può utilizzare le nostre informazioni sempre. Quando una persona condivide qualcosa come un messaggio con un amico – continua Zuckerberg facendo un esempio – ne vengono create due copie: una nella lista notifiche del destinatario e una in quella del mittente. Anche se una persona disattiva il proprio account, il suo amico continuerà a possedere quel messaggio. Per Facebook questo parrebbe corretto in linea con tutti gli altri servizi mailing e social network.

Ecco la parte più interessante:

Tu – Zuckerberg precisa – sei l’unico responsabile dei contenuti che invii nel circuito Facebook. Tu garantisci a Facebook un’irrevocabile, perpetua, non esclusiva, trasferibile, completamente pagata, mondiale licenza per usare, copiare, pubblicare, mettere in rete, tradurre, adattare, formattare, modificare, editare, creare derivati da distribuire in livelli multipli (ma gente voi tutto questo lo sapevate? Io sinceramente a sapere tutto ciò sono contento di non avere un profilo facebook, troppo in fretta mettiamo i click di ok sui contratti di licenza senza nemmeno leggerli!).

Cosa significa tutto ciò? Semplicemente che chiunque crea un account Facebook rilascia i diritti d’autore sulla propra personalità e ad ogni singola informazione presente sul proprio account. Roba davvero da pazzi! Si parla tanto di violazione della privacy, ma sembra proprio che i primi a farlo siano i social networks, ovviamente sotto vostra previa visione e conferma.

  4. I don’t know if it’s just me or if everyone else experiencing problems with your blog. It seems like some of the text within your posts are running off the screen.   7. My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
