Facebook: in Nuova Zelanda arriva la Timeline

Il team di Facebook, parecchie settimane addietro, come ben ricorderanno molti degli iscritti al social network in blu e, sopratutto, degli appassionati lettori di IoChatto, aveva annunciato il lancio, a breve, della Timeline.

Sino ad alcune ore addietro, però, un qualche intoppo al momento sconosciuto (con molta probabilità le problematiche con Timelines) ha impedito al team di Zuck di mettere in atto le tanto attese modifiche.

Soltanto da pochissimo, però, l’effettiva attivazione della Timeline sembra finalmente aver intrapreso la giusta via: Facebook, infatti, ne ha annunciato l’attivazione ufficiale in Nuova Zelanda.

La grande notizia ha iniziato a diffondersi mediante un apposito comunicato in cui è stato precisato il motivo in base al quale è stata scelta la Nuova Zelanda come “paese di partenza”.

La motivazione, a quanto pare, starebbe nell’utilizzo esclusivo in lingua inglese del social network che, però, in Nuova Zelanda, può contare su un numero di utenti nettamente inferiore rispetto a quelli registrati negli Stati Uniti e nel Regno Unito.

La Nuova Zelanda risulta inoltre particolarmente lontana dai data center per cui sarà possibile monitorare la velocità e le prestazioni del servizio in maniera agevole, molto più rispetto a quanto sarebbe possibile fare in altri paesi.

La Nuova Zelanda, inoltre, farà da test nella rilevazione e nella correzione di vari ed eventuali bug che potrebbero essere individuati servendosi della Timeline permettendone poi un lancio perfetto in tutti gli altri paesi.

La notizia in questione appare quindi particolarmente interessante andandosi a configurare come il chiaro segno che, finalmente, qualcosa si sta effettivamente muovendo.

Nonostante ciò risulta ancora ignoto il momento del lancio della Timeline in tutti gli altri paesi.

Allo stato attuale delle cose, infatti, non è stato ancora stilato alcun calendario apposito relativamente al debutto della Timeline nel resto del globo, così come dichiarato da Sam Lessin, Product manager di Facebook.

    Its very well written; I love what youve got
