Facebook rimborso azionisti

Chi, nel giorno dell’esordio in borsa di Facebook, ha tentato di accedere alle azioni dell’appetitoso gruppo di Mark Zuckerberg oggi potrà avere accesso anche ad un rimborso garantito dal Nasdaq pari esattamente a 62 milioni di dollari.

Trattasi di una notizia di certo estremamente positiva e sicuramente particolarmente attesa da maggio dello scorso anno quando, appunto, Facebook fece il suo ingresso a Wall Street.

Il giorno in cui Facebook fece il suo ingresso in borsa fu sicuramente di grande confusione: le trattative avrebbero dovuto prendere il via alle ore 11 ma in effetti iniziarono soltanto mezz’ora più tardi lasciando quindi bloccato ogni ordine ed incrementando la tensione che per ovvie ragioni era già sufficientemente alta.

Quando le contrattazioni ebbero inizio ufficiale le azioni FB volarono oltre il 10% per poi tornare nuovamente verso i prezzi dell’apertura.

Il picco della prima ora non è più stato toccato ed oggi le azioni presentano un valore compreso tra i 25 ed i 30 dollari.

Per il Nasdaq si tratto di problemi tecnici ma la la Security and Exchange Commission fu immediatamente tirata in ballo.

Successivamente, a detta di molti, erano stati messi in atto strani movimenti che Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs e JP Morgan avevano portato avanti.

Il danno complessivo stimato per le trattative mancate è stato poi quantificato in circa 500 milioni di dollari.

Ora, nonostante il rimborso e nonostante il fatto che la notizia dell’ultim’ora vada a configurarsi senza alcun dubbio come estremamente positiva, la questione non è stata ancora chiusa, o almeno non lo è stato fatto del tutto, poiché i 62 milioni di dollari non mettono ancora il Nasdaq al riparo da altre indagini mediante le quali sarà possibile determinare con esatteza la responsabilità di quanto verificatosi.

Frattanto, comunque, per Robert Greifeld, l’uomo attualmente alla guida del Nasdaq, si è trattato di un incidente di percorso.
