Non è un segreto che Facebook sia il più grande social network del mondo, con i suoi 300 milioni di utenti attivi ogni giorno. Dalla scorsa primavera la crescita di Facebook è continuata senza segnare mai una battuta d’arresto. A gennaio la community contava appena 150 milioni di utenti, che ad aprile sono diventati 200 milioni, e a luglio 250, fino a raggiungere il picco di settembre con ben 300 milioni.

A novembre gli iscritti a Facebook sono diventati 325 milioni, con un ritmo di crescita di 500.000 nuovi utenti al giorno. Insomma, è come se ogni mattina una piccola città entrasse a far parte di Facebook. Ma la cosa davvero sorprendente è che, secondo le stime attuali, il numero avrebbe dovuto essere molto più alto.

La corsa di Facebook sembra essersi fermata, sempre se vogliamo considerare come un arresto quel mezzo milione di utenti al giorno che fa il suo ingresso nel social network. E ad ogni modo tutto questo non sembra preoccupare il team di Mark Zuckerberg, che continua a are progetti di espansione.
