Facebook Messenger, in arrivo la funzione che autodistrugge i messaggi

Interessanti novità dal fronte Facebook e in particolar modo per quanto concerne Facebook Messenger. Nel corso delle ultime ore Mark Zuckerberg ed il suo team hanno infatti cominciato a testare l’autodistruzione dei messaggi inviati.

Si tratta di una soluzione che in qualche modo va a aprotgere ulteriormente la privacy degli iscritti cancellando ogni traccia delle loro attività dopo un certo lasso di tempo.

Dalle immagini diffuse in rete da coloro che al momento hanno avuto modo di sperimentar la novità si nota chiaramente che trattasi della versione 68.0 di Messenger per iOS dove gli utenti potranno inserire un tempo limite oltre il quale il messaggi si autodistruggeranno. Gli utenti potranno impostare “Never”, cioè mai sino ad un giorno massimo. I limiti intermedi sono dopo 1 minuto, 15 minuti, un’ora e 4 ore.

La scelta di Facebook di inserire questa funzionalità non è comunque una sorpresa. Molte app simili di grande successo, come ad esempio Teleagram, si basano proprio su un’accurata protezione della privacy degli utenti con i messaggi che possono autodistruggersi. Inoltre, recentemente WhatsApp, di proprietà di Facebook, ha introdotto la crittografia end-to-end all’interno dei messaggi per garantire agli utenti la massima protezione della privacy.

Da notare che unitamente a queste tipologie di messaggi, Facebook starebbe sperimentando anche le chat segrete, luoghi dove gli utenti potranno conversare in tutta sicurezza.

Al momento, è però bene tenerlo presente, non è ancora chiaro quando effettivamente la novità verrà diffusa su larga scala e quindi quando tutti gli iscritti al social network potranno fruire liberamente della novità.
