Facebook ha lanciato l'app Slingshot per errore

Da fine maggio avevano cominciato a circolare online alcune indiscrezioni riguardanti le presunte intenzioni di Facebook di lanciare una nuova app di messaggistica chiamata Slingshot ed avente funzioni simili a Snapchat, l’applicazione che Mark Zuckerberg e la sua squadra avrebbero voluto acquisire.

Nel corso degli ultimi giorni l’app Slingshot è stata pubblicata per errore su App Store di Apple. L’app è stata rimossa quasi subito ma il breve intervallo di tempo durante il quale è risultata disponibile ha comunque permesso di conoscerne alcune funzionalità.

I pochi utenti che hanno avuto modo di sperimentare la nuova app di messaggistica di Facebook hanno fatto sapere che anche questa, al pari di Snapchat, permette agli utenti di condividere foto e video ed eventualmente di agigungervi una didascalia e dei disegni. Il messaggio, a differenza dell’app concorrente, viene però visualizzato sullo smartphone del destinatario solo se quest’ultimo invia una foto o un video di risposta, una feature questa che è stata descritta da Facebook stesso come Sling your shot e da cui deriva il nome dell’applicazione. È dunque possibile regire agli shot durante la visone del messaggio o eliminarli effettuando un semplice e veloce swipe. Tutti gli scatti ricevuti dagli amici possono comunque essere sfogliati.

Al momento la cosa non è ancora chiara ma è molto probabile che Slingshot sia stata sviluppata da Creatve Labs, lo stesso team che ha progettato l’app Paper per iPhone.

Allo stato attuale delle cose non è stato reso noto quando avverrà il “vero” lancio di Slinghot ma considerando la pubblicazione erronea sullo store di Apple non dovrebbe volerci ancora molto tempo. Potrebbe essere questione di qualche ora o qualche giorno.

  3. I do not know if it’s just me or if everyone else encountering problems with

  9. Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell
    and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
