Facebook, assolda finto killer: arrestata

Facebook Christine MetterÈ davvero curiosa la storia di Christine Metter e il padre 77enne che riguarda Facebook e arriva oggi dagli Stati Uniti. La coppia è stata infatti arrestata per aver assoldato un uomo che si era finto un assassino professionista sulla piattaforma sociale di Zuckerberg, cui compito sarebbe dovuto essere quello di uccidere l’ex-marito della donna.

Le due persone sono state vittime della più classica delle trappole e sono finite dietro le sbarre dopo un processo alle intenzioni, non ovviamente per fatti compiuti.

La storia però ha dell’incredibile. Tutto è cominciato con una conversazione su Facebook tra Christine Metter e Patrick Sabo, un vecchio compagno di college della donna che temeva come il marito potesse portarle via gli altri figli, dopo aver ottenuto la custodia della figlia maggiore. L’amico le ha risposto, in modo ovviamente scherzoso, consigliandole di farlo semplicemente fuori. Evidentemente però la donna non ha colto la battuta, oppure le è servito solo come pretesto per compiere qualcosa che premeditava da tempo.

Ad ogni modo, Christine ha chiesto allora a Patrick se conoscesse qualcuno cui affidare il compito promettendo di pagarlo con l’assicurazione sulla vita del marito pari a 1,5 milioni di dollari. La donna è infatti l’unica beneficiaria della somma.

L’amico (mica tanto a questo punto) allora ha deciso di far scattare la trappola con l’aiuto della polizia da lui avvisata. Ha prima organizzato un incontro, dove la donna, accompagnata dal padre, ha offerto 50.000 dollari per l’uccisione del povero ex-marito. Poi, qualche giorno dopo, Patrick si è presentato con il finto killer (un poliziotto) mostrando una fotografia ritoccata al computer nel quale era possibile scorgere la figura del marito sanguinante con un foro sulla testa. Vista la soddisfazione della ex-moglie, è scattato l’arresto.

Il giudice non ha fatto sconti: dieci anni per lei, nove per il padre, reo di averla accompagnata in tutta questa assurda vicenda che suo malgrado ha avuto Facebook come co-protagonista.

  26. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea
