Facebook e l’advertising di qualità

Chi era abituato a fare campagne pubblicitarie su Facebook di una discreta semplicità, si dovrà adattare alle nuove regole del social network. E’ infatti stata effettuata una revisione della policy che regola l’advertising sulle pagine del social network che interesserà non poco gli inserzionisti.
A comunicarlo pubblicamente è Clickz, che ci parla in primis dell’aggiunta di una serie di “filtri umani” oltre a quelli automatici già presenti che serviranno per snellire a per migliorare la qualità dello spam evitando in ogni modo le forme di spam.

Facebook, sta puntando così all’innalzamento della qualità degli annunci pubblicitari sulle sue pagine, forse perchè così riuscirà ad abbattere quelle critiche che vogliono mostrare la presenza di “ragazze immagine” sui profili di chi potrebbe offendersi.


Ma allo stesso modo, queste modifiche, vengono viste dal team di Facebook anche come una sorta di possibilità in più data agli inserzionisti più continui di raggiungere maggiormente le persone e le attività di proprio interesse.
Tra le novità essenziali ce n’è sono alcune che vanno tenute note: la prima è che non si potrà fare uso dei dati utente nell’annuncio; la seconda è che la scelta del target è logica e non solo su età e residenza. L’input per cui queste modifiche sono state applicate sempre secondo Clickz, è la recente “bruciatura” avuta con Beacon, che ha portato a maturare la società che si dice disposta a lottare per la qualità prima che la quantità. Annie Ta, portavoce Facebook ha dichiarato che: “La qualità delle pubblicità è importante per noi, ed intraprenderemo sempre i passi necessari per assicurare alle persone su Facebook il meglio dell’advertising“.

Con la sua crescita esponenziale Facebook, sta dimostrando grazie a questa mossa di non aver più bisogno di “incorporare” tutto quello che arriva da fuori, ma che può cominciare a selezionare un po’ di cose…purtroppo molti l’hanno definita arroganza!
