Facebook e fenomeno stalking, un nuovo caso in Italia

Sono molti i casi in cui Facebook, il noto social network, sta diventando sempre più presente nelle cronache di tutto il mondo. L’ultimo caso pervenuto dall’Italia, riguarda un caso di stalking. Lo stalking secondo Wikipedia, proviende da un termine inglese (letteralmente: perseguitare) che indica una serie di atteggiamenti tenuti da un individuo che affligge un’altra persona, spesso di sesso opposto, perseguitandola e generando stati di ansia e paura, che possono arrivare a comprometterne il normale svolgimento della quotidianità.
Il caso specifico, tratta di un ragazzo di 20 anni, R. L. residente a Bologna, che dopo essersi impossessato del numero di telefono dell’account di Internet, ma soprattutto dopo averla conosciuta su Facebook, ha cominciato a telefonare alla giovane notte e giorno intimando e minacciando di farle del male se non fosse scesa a ricatti sessuali. I carabinieri della Compagnia di Monterotondo in provincia di Roma, hanno così arrestato il giovane seguendo la procedura dell’articolo 612 bis del Codice Penale. Il giovane è stato fermato a Monterotondo di fronte casa di una sua coetanea dove già da alcune ore si era appostato per attendere la sua uscita. La ragazza resasi conto di ciò, senza uscire ha subito chiamato i militari, sottolineando tutti i dettagli dell’accaduto già telefonicamente. In pratica R. L. esperto di informatica e soprattutto dopo essersi guadagnato la fiducia della giovane, ha cominciato a minacciarla di violenza sessuale telefonicamente e su Facebook. Le minacce hanno cominciato a spaventare la vittima quando il giovane ha cominciato a dare dettagli architettonici esterni della casa della ragazza. E proprio qui, di fronte all’abitazione dove lui l’attendeva, si sono presentati i Carabinieri che lo hanno arrestato cogliendolo in fragrante.
La storia agghiacciante, è solo una delle tante che si sentono in tutto il mondo da quando i rapporti on-line si sono diffusi a macchia d’olio. Quindi è buona norma non rilasciare mai on-line i propri dati personali a sconosciuti, ma anche a presunti parenti, anche perchè le identità virtuali non sempre corrispondono a quelle reali, quindi necessita fare la massima attenzione per evitare di cadere in situazioni del genere.
