Parliamo di una miglioria tecnica molto interessante a cui da un po’ di tempo stanno studiando i tecnici del team di Mark Zuckerberg, per apportare a Facebook il maggior numero di nuove opzioni per renderlo sicuro sempre più agli occhi dei propri utenti. La nuova funzionalità che è stata introdotta e presentata riguarda la possibilità di interruzione e blocco di tutti gli accessi non autorizzati al proprio account, attraverso delle informazioni leggibili sui login effettuati.

Nel menù “Impostazioni Account”, infatti è già possibile guardare e confrontare le informazioni relative agli accessi, con data ed ora, oltre che la località dell’accesso, il browser usato ed il sistema operativo.

Con questi dati ci si può rendere conto del fatto che vengano effettuati accessi illeciti al proprio account senza il permesso e capire anche da dove.
Gli utenti, possono spesso lasciare aperta una sezione di navigazione sul PC di amici oppure in un Internet Point, o ancora sui computer che vengono condivisi tra più persone. Questa sorta di problema è quindi stato risolto utilizzando la possibilità di effettuare un logout da remoto per rendere impenetrabile (o meglio inaccessibile) il profilo a terzi.
Questa soluzione va ad essere uno dei primi capisaldi della rivoluzione di Facebook in ambito di sicurezza e di tutela degli utenti.
