Facebook: contratto cambiato di nuovo dopo le proteste

Non si può dire che Mark Zuckerberg non sappia ascoltare! Dopo le proteste degli ultimi giorni i Terms of Use di Facebook sono cambiati nuovamente. E’ stato reinserito il paragrafo, eliminato con la precedente modifica, dove si dice che:

Hai la facoltà di rimuovere in qualsiasi momento i Contenuti dell’utente dal Sito. Se decidi di rimuovere i tuoi Contenuti dell’utente, l’autorizzazione di cui sopra decadrà automaticamente, ma accetti che la Società possa mantenere in archivio copie dei Contenuti dell’utente. Facebook non rivendica la proprietà dei tuoi Contenuti dell’utente. Tu, come stabilito negli accordi stipulati tra te e la Società, in base ai diritti da te concessi nelle presenti Condizioni, mantieni la proprietà di tutti i tuoi Contenuti dell’utente e di tutti i diritti di proprietà intellettuale o di qualsiasi altro diritto associato ai tuoi Contenuti dell’utente.

In pratica cancellando un contenuto decade la licenza di utilizzo del contenuto stesso che l’utente garantisce a Facebook al momento dell’upload. Inoltre si specifica che la licenza garantita a Facebook non implica la cessione della proprietà intellettuale su alcun contenuto. Una bella vittoria per i milioni di utenti che hanno protestato e, un po’ più in piccolo, anche per IoChatto, che aveva denunciato il cambiamento in un post di lunedì, aggiornando poi questa mattina con l’opinione di Zuckerberg. Il gruppo Facebook che abbiamo creato per protesta verso i cambiamenti al contratto con l’utente ha raccolto 267 iscritti in poco meno di due giorni!

Nevertheless, because of what I have experienced, I simply just wish as the comments stack on that people stay on point and in no way start on a tirade of some other news du jour.
