Facebook, App Center presentato ufficialmente

E’ arrivata nelle ore notturne italiane la presentazione ufficiale di un importante progetto per Facebook, vale a dire il nuovo App Center, il cui compito sarà quello di garantire una svolta nel campo della applicazioni di natura social, considerando che questo, fino ad oggi, è stato uno dei pochi ambiti in cui il colosso di Palo Alto ha fatto davvero fatica ad imporsi.

Non è un caso che Doug Purdy, direttore dei prodotti per gli sviluppatori di Facebook, durante la conferenza stampa tenutasi a San Francisco ha affermato che “l‘App Center rappresenta una nuova strada per gli utenti per andare alla scoperta di applicazioni social”. Insomma, l’obiettivo di Facebook appare piuttosto chiaro, anche se, almeno per ora, il download dei programmi è gratuito.

In attesa che si passi alla modalità “a pagamento“, come previsto da molti addetti ai lavori, ad oggi ci si può imbattere in circa seicento applicazioni.
