Facebook: 845 milioni di utenti attivi ed altri numeri interessanti

Per l’avvio delle operazioni per la quotazione di Facebook a Wall Street il team del social network in blu più celebre al mondo ha provveduto a consegnare alla Security and Exchance Commission (SEC) la documentazione necessaria per richiedere, appunto, la quotazione pubblica sul mercato azionario.

Il documento in questione è risultato comprensivo di tutta una serie di interessantissimi dati necessari per valutare Facebook e passare al vaglio quelle che sono le sue principali caratteristiche in vista di un possibile e prossimo investimento.

Da tale documento sono emersi anche un insieme di numeri facenti riferimento a quella che è l’attuale dimensione del gruppo che si è rivelato tanto ampio quanto, al contempo, attivo.

Nel dettaglio, ciò che ne è emerso è stato che Facebook, ad oggi, può contare su:

  • 845 milioni di utenti attivi ogni mese (è stato registrato un aumento del 39% rispetto al 31 dicembre del 2010)
  • 483 milioni di utenti attivi a cadenza quotidiana (è stato registrato un aumento del 48% rispetto allo scorso anno)
  • 425 milioni di utenti che accedono a Facebook mediante device mobile
  • 100 miliardi di connessioni tra gli amici
  • 2,7 miliardi di Mi piace e commenti totali registrati ogni giorno nel corso dell’ultimo trimestre del 2011
  • 250 milioni di foto uploadate ogni giorno nel corso dell’ultimo trimestre del 2011

A tali numeri vanno poi aggiunte quelle che sono le cifre di bilancio del gruppo.

Nello specifico, nel corso del 2011 Facebook ha incassato un totale di ben 3,71 miliardi di dollari il che implica inevitabilmente un notevole aumento rispetto al 2010, anno nel quale erano stati registrati 1,97 miliardi di dollari, ed al 2009, durante il quale il social network aveva registrato 777 miliardi di dollari.

Delle entrate totali l’85% deriva dagli annunci pubblicitari ed è questo il motivo in base al quale il team del social network in blu indica tra i possibili fattori di rischio eventuali perdite del numero di inserzionisti.
