Se come me usate Firefox e navigate di frequente, ma volete tenere sotto controllo il vostro Facebook, le estensioni che sto per elencare vi saranno certamente utili.

Il primo e più completo plugin è certamente la Facebook Toolbar, una barra di navigazione per Facebook che si integra nel browser Firefox e notifica le principali attività del social network, se avete nuovi messaggi, se un amico vi ha mandato un poke, oppure se c’è un invito a un nuovo evento. La toolbar contiene inoltre una serie di utili pulsanti per aggiornare lo status, condividere i link, e perfino caricare le foto.

Il secondo si chiama AdBlock Plus, e pur non essendo pensato specificatamente per Facebook si rileva molto utile nel caso abbiate una connessione poco potente o un PC un po’ vecchiotto. AdBlock Plus infatti evita il caricamento dei banner laterali di Facebook, facendoci risparmiare tempo nell’aggiornamento della pagina. Questi banner possono essere rimossi tutti in blocco, oppure dopo una selezione dell’utente.

Altra estensione davvero utile per risparmaire tempo è FacePad che permette di scaricare sul PC di casa tutti gli album fotografici che vogliamo (anche quelli degli amici) in modo da sfogliarli poi comodamente senza stare per forza connessi a internet.

Per ultimo, non poteva mancare Facebook Dislike, un’estensione Firefox che consente di aggiungere il pulsante “non mi piace” a tutti i contenuti Facebook. Il voto però è visibile solo agli utenti che hanno lo stesso plugin installato, comunque è sempre una gran bella soddisfazione.
