E’ lotta economica tra i social network

Il mercato globale sta sviluppando, come nell’economia, una lotta molto ambita nel Web 2.0 tra i colossi del Social Network. Si tratta del confronto tra MySpace e Facebook.
Tra i piani principali di innalzamento del volume di gradimento di MySpace, c’è il lancio di MySpace Platform. Questa piattaforma è semplicemente visibile come una piattaforma di API (Application Programming Interface) sulla cui base si possa sviluppare l’inserimento di widgets, script Java, applicazioni Flash e blocchi di informazioni di cui MySpace dispone.
Tutto ciò dovrà girare sul server di MySpace.
Già dall’anno scorso i primi beta tester come Mashblein, hanno potuto approfittare di un lettore RSS di feed in Flash che sembra una novità assoluta.
Tutto ciò non è rimasto indifferente a Facebook, che ha visto clonarsi un patrimonio già creato nella FQL (Facebook Query Language) basato sul supermotore SQL.
Non sono mancate le proposte di altri social network in questo ambito. A partire da eBay che ha lanciato Nighborhood (“I tuoi vicini” – non ancora disponibile nella versione italiana). La colonna informativa spiega che: “i Neighborhoods sono luoghi per persone come te, che vogliono relazionarsi tramite le loro passioni comuni per prodotti e argomenti. Puoi saltare subito dentro e partecipare, oppure fare una visita e guardare soltanto, dipende da te.”
Continua quindi il desiderio di ampliare il parco delle API per portarsi a livelli sempre più alti nella globalizzazione. In testa per questi sviluppi di business troviamo l’Inghilterra che è prima come pubblicità derivate dagli annunci delle applicazioni API.
