Disconnettersi automaticamente dal proprio account Facebook utilizzando Facebook Auto-Logout

Quando ci si ritrova a dover condividere la propria postazione multimediale con altri utenti (come ad esempio nel caso di parenti, colleghi di lavoro e chi più ne ha più ne metta) restare sempre collegati al proprio account Facebook anche dopo aver chiuso la finestra del browser web può risultare, almeno nella maggior parte dei casi, tanto fastidioso quanto pericoloso.

Eventuali ficcanaso potrebbero infatti accedere a quelle che sono le informazioni visionabili collegandosi all’account Facebook del malcapitato e nei casi più sfortunati non è neppure da escludere la perdita dei dati o, ancora, un eventuale furto d’identità.

Tenendo conto di quanto appena affermato sarebbe quindi buona norma effettuare sempre e comunque il logout da Facebook ogni qual volta, appunto, si desidera interrompere l’utilizzo del social network.

Tuttavia potrebbe accadere di dimenticare di eseguire l’operazione in questione ed è questo il motivo in base al quale una risorsa quale Facebook Auto-Logout può rivelarsi molto utile… a patto però che venga utilizzato Mozilla Firefox come browser web.

Di che cosa si tratta? Semplice: Facebook Auto-Logout è un add-on specifico per il browser del panda rosso che, una volta installato, andrà ad effettuare il logout automatico dal proprio account Facebook ogni qual volta verrà chiusa la finestra relativa al social network o, in alternativa, dopo 60 secondi di inattività.

Acendo dal pannello di settaggio dell’estensione sarà inoltre possibile modificare il lasso di tempo massimo di inattività oltre il quale Facebook Auto-Logout entretà in azione effettuato automaticamente il logut.

L’add-on, per non far mancare proprio nulla, consente anche di visualizzare apposite notifiche sul desktop, così come illustrato nello screenshot d’esempio presente all’inizio di questo post, in concomitanza dell’operazione di disconnessione e la cui visualizzazione potrà anch’essa essere personalizzata agendo dal pannello di settaggio dell’add-on ed in base a quelle che sono le diverse esigenze di ciascun utente.
