Digg attaccato perchè…troppo progressista

Ebbene si i problemi di Digg sono in continuo aumento. A “lacerarne” l’utilizzo, non sono bastate le innovazioni portate sull’algoritmo di selezione per le nuove notizie portate in home page, bensì, sembra che il servizio di social bookmarking ora sia diventato anche una preda per i furbi che continuano a postare qualcosa che non fa proprio piacere agli utenti membri del sito. Si tratta di Gruppi Organizzati e postatori occasionali, che nell’ultimo periodo stanno portando Digg sui giornali per il suo riscontro politico troppo forte, quasi da censura degli argomenti di trattazione oltre che censura di siti e materiali pubblicati.
A rivelare il tutto è stato per primo AlterNet ed il suo utente oleoleolson, che ha dichiarato apertamente di un gruppo chiamato Digg Patriots, composto da ben 70 utenti e tutti partecipanti al gruppo di Yahoo! prontamente cancellato per lavorare sugli articoli. Si lavora ovviamente su link che dovevano essere portati al successo in base ai loro contenuti sull’orientamento politico, ed oltre a questo, sulla popolarità di determinati link e dei loro contenuti.


L’accusa è chiara quindi: pubblicazione di contenuti manipolatori verso determinate correnti politiche, associazionismo per il portare su determinati articoli in classifica di gradimento, ovviamente scritti da raccomandati (si possono vedere anche le ripubblicazioni su Facebook ed altri social network), il tutto a scapito del Management di Digg per bocca del Direttore delle Comunicazioni di Michele Husak, che risponde sullo stesso AlterNet: “certamente uno sguardo interessante gettato sulla strada che le persone sono disposte a percorrere per creare quella che credono sia la migliore esperienza Digg“.
Tra le novità nella piattaforma di social bookmarking abbiamo solo l’anteprima del fatto che sarà tolta nella nuova versione la possibilità di “affossare”i link, permettendo solo di innalzarli o rimanere del tutto indifferente.

Il problema è attualmente per i gestori dei siti italiani…provate a postare più di 10 news dallo stesso sito e vedete che bel “bann” vi procurate!
