Diaspora in italiano: anteprima e foto

La homepage di Diaspora adesso è anche in italiano. Le iscrizioni pubbliche sono ancora chiuse, ma è possibile richiedere un invito per accedere all’anteprima alpha di questo social network che si presenta come alternativa libera e flessibile a Facebook.

Infatti il motto di Diaspora è condividi ciò che vuoi con chi vuoi, grazie ad una gestione facile e veloce della privacy che ti lascia il pieno possesso di tutto il materiale caricato e ti dà il pieno controllo su tutto ciò che decidi di condividere, scegliendo non solo “cosa” ma anche “chi” potrà accedervi.

Nella homepage di Diaspora possiamo leggere questo avviso:

Tu possiedi le tue foto, e non dovresti perderne il possesso solo per condividerle. Tu mantieni il possesso di qualsiasi cosa condividi su Diaspora e ti viene dato pieno controllo su come viene distribuita.

Insomma sei tu a fare il tuo social network personale e a scegliere chi invitare. Ma questo basterà ad attrarre anche chi è già un affezionato utente Facebook? Oppure c’è il rischio di ritrovarsi da soli e senza amici?

Sotto l’aspetto grafico, Diaspora è certamente superiore a Facebook. Ha un tema elegante, minimalista e pulito, e soprattutto è privo di banner pubblicitari. Ma a parte questo, Diaspora non aggiunge niente ai social network già esistenti. Almeno nella fase alpha, non ci sono novità che possono essere definite “di rilievo”, o funzionalità che possono davvero caratterizzare il network come l’anti-facebook per eccellenza.

Comunque siamo ancora alla fase di test, ed è presto per dare giudizi. In attesa di fare una prova sul campo, vi lasciamo con gli screenshots in anteprima di Diaspora.
