Dalla Francia arriva la Tassa Google

Sempre più preso in considerazione il mondo del web e nello specifico quello che vede rapportarsi il web ed i soldi. Sembra infatti che la Francia abbia deciso di proporre una nuova tassa sui link sponsorizzati e sui banner pubblicitari pubblicati nei maggiori motori di ricerca e sui social network. I primi ad essere colpiti dovrebbero essere Google, Facebook, Microsoft e Yahoo!. Tutto questo dovrebbe essere una sorta di supporto per il mercato musicale e quello cinematografico, che secondo le statistiche degli ultimi anni continua a soffrire enormemente della digitalizzazione dei contenuti.

 

 
Questa soluzione è stata ipotizzata e resa nota dalla commissione di Zelnik, che già da tempo insegue la lotta contro lo scambio illegale di film e musica, proponendo le tasse astronomiche per tutte le società che guadagnano alla grande sul web francese ma che versano i contributi delle imposte agli altri Paesi. Questa sorta di proposta è stata subito battezzatta dalla stampa come “Tassa Google“.

 

 
Per la commissione di Zelnik, la tassa influirà comunque (seppur di poco) sugli introiti degli attori della rete ma riuscirà a fare entrare nelle casse dell’erario francese all’incirca 800 milioni di euro all’anno.

 
Il colosso Big G e Facebook, però subito hanno replicato a questa proposta comuunicando il proprio dissenso. A farsene portavoce Olivier Esper, direttore degli affari pubblici di Google France, che ha dichiarato: “troviamo soluzioni innovative ad una logica della tassazione…e non sviluppiamo una…logica di contrasto tra il mondo di internet e quello della cultura”.

 
Questa decisione statale sembra ormai essere stata presa con fermezza, giustificandola con la voglia di dare un nuovo slancio all’industria della cultura d’oltralpe.

A seguito di questa decisione, molti saranno (secondo gli esperti e la stampa di settore), i motori di ricera e soprattutto i social network che “eviteranno” di passare anche alla traduzione dei propri siti web in lingua francese, per ovvi motivi legati ad una riduzione degli introiti dovuti alle tasse da pagare.

  45. When I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Perhaps there is a means you can remove me from that service? Appreciate it!
