Su Facebook cominciano a diffondersi molti giochi di simulazione ambientati nelle fattorie, e che hanno come scopo del gioco quello di fare giardinaggio, di piantare semi, arare il terreno, raccogliere i prodotti e venderli al mercato. Perciò se volete divertirvi a fare l’agricoltore, anche solo per un giorno (in fondo perchè non provarci, il gioco è gratis), potete costruire facilmente la vostra fattoria con FarmVille oppure con Happy Farm, due giochi che su Facebook vanno per la maggiore.

Vediamo come funzionano.

Happy Farm è all’apparenza il gioco più semplice e facile, anche perchè all’inizio c’è un tutorial che insegna a muoversi durante le prima fase del raccolto. Il giocatore ha un pezzetto di terra da coltivare, e un sacchetto di semi da piantare. Le piante crescono in poche ore, ma bisogna annaffiarle, mettere il fertilizzante e poi difenderle da erbacce e vermi giganti. C’è anche la possibilità che uno dei tuoi amici ti rubi il raccolto, ma se inviti 5 amici a partecipare al gioco avrai come bonus un cane da guardia.

FarmVille è molto simile al gioco precedente, ma a rendere la cosa più appassionante è la grafica 2D. FarmVille è sviluppato dalla società Zynga, la stessa di Vampire Wars e di YoVille, e anche in FarmVille c’è la possibilità di avere un avatar personalizzato, case da aggiungere alla fattoria e naturalmente piantare e coltivare semi, fiori, e alberi. Ma si possono regalare anche animali (mucche, galline, maiali) da rivendere al mercato una volta raggiunto il livello 7. Il gioco però è ancora in fase beta, e al contrario di YoVille non si può interagire con gli amici o chattare con loro mentre si gioca. Ma è possibile che questa funzione sia aggiunta in futuro.
