Ci sono importanti novità che occorre a tutti oggi 21 novembre, per tutti coloro che utilizzano quotidianamente l’app WhatsApp e che, allo stesso tempo, si ritrovano con smartphone non più di ultimo grido. Di recente, infatti, dallo staff che si occupa dello sviluppo della piattaforma sono arrivate conferme importanti a proposito dello stop al supporto per milioni di vecchi smartphone. Una questione tornata ad essere calda, da valutare con grade attenzione.

Niente aggiornamenti WhatsApp per milioni di vecchi smartphone

WhatsApp è una delle piattaforme di messaggistica più popolari al mondo e una delle app più scaricate del decennio . Tuttavia, il 1 ° febbraio 2020, l’app di proprietà di Facebook ha deciso di terminare il supporto per milioni di dispositivi. Gli smartphone che perdono il supporto includono dispositivi Android con Android 2.3.7 o versioni precedenti, nonché iPhone che utilizzano iOS 8 e versioni precedenti.

WhatsApp chiaramente non aveva altra scelta che garantire che il suo servizio rimanga sicuro, tuttavia, deve affrontare il difficile effetto collaterale che l’app non è più compatibile con gli smartphone meno recenti.

Non è la prima volta che WhatsApp ha ritirato il supporto per dispositivi con software obsoleto, il 31 dicembre 2019 ha smesso di funzionare sui telefoni Windows. Un’altra opzione sarebbe scaricare l’app desktop per Windows o Mac OS. Tuttavia, ciò non ti farà molto bene se non hai un computer o per rimanere in contatto con amici e familiari in movimento. Insomma, fate molta attenzione alle ultime novità riguardanti WhatsApp, anche qui in Italia.

  27. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
