Come rendere privato il diario di Facebook

Per impostazione predefinita su Facebook gli utenti hanno la possibilità di pubblicare messaggi, foto e video anche sul diario altrui. Chi preferisce evitare che questo accada, a prescindere dal motivo, può scegliere di rendere privato il diario di Facebook.

Vietare la pubblicazione di contenuti da parte di altri utenti sul proprio diario e limitare la visualizzazione dei post e degli altri contenuti condivisi è molto semplice.

La prima cosa da fare per rendere privato il diario di Facebook consiste nell’accedere al social network, nell’aprire la pagina del proprio profilo, nel cliccare sul pulsante raffigurante la ruota di ingranaggio posto sotto l’immagine di copertina e nel selezionare la voce Impostazioni dal menu visualizzato.

Nella pagina che si apre è possibile impostare il livello di privacy per tutto ciò che viene postato sul proprio diario. Mediante le opzioni annesse alla sezione Chi può aggiungere cose sul mio diario? è possibile indicare chi può scrivere sul proprio diario e scegliere se far comparire in maniera automatica i post in cui si viene taggati sulla propria pagina Facebook oppure no, nella sezione Chi può vedere le cose che sono sul mio diario? è possibile scegliere chi può visualizzare i post in cui si è stati targati e i messaggi pubblicati dagli altri sul proprio diario mentre con le opzioni annesse alla sezione Come faccio a gestire i tag aggiunti dalle persone e i suggerimenti di tag? è possibile regolare tutte le impostazioni relative ai tag. Per limitare la visualizzazione di questi elementi basta cliccare sulla voce Modifica posta accanto a ciascuno di essi e selezionare l’opzione desiderata dal menu visualizzato.

Per rendere privato il diario di Facebook anche per quanto riguarda la visualizzazione dei propri contenuti pubblicati è invece necessario tornare nel menu con le impostazioni del diario e selezionare la voce Privacy dalla barra laterale di sinistra.

Nella pagina che si apre è possibile scegliere il tipo pubblico a cui rendere accessibili le informazioni da pubblicare in futuro ed è possibile restringere le informazioni già presenti sul proprio profilo in modo da renderle accessibili ai soli amici. Per la prima impostazione basta cliccare sulla voce Modifica collocata accanto alla dicitura Chi può vedere i tuoi post futuri? e selezionare dal menu a tendina che compare il pubblico a cui rendere disponibili i contenuti futuri. Per la seconda impostazione è invece necessario fare click sull’opzione Limita i post passati collocata accanto alla voce Vuoi limitare il pubblico dei post che hai condiviso con gli amici degli amici o con il pubblico? e fare click prima su Solo vecchi post e poi su Conferma per limitare la visione dei propri vecchi post agli amici.

Anche eliminare il profilo Facebook da Google così come nascondere la data di nascita e la situazione sentimentale sono ulteriori validi sistemi per rendere privato il diario il Facebook.

Da notare che una volta apportate tutte le varie modifiche indicate all’account è anche possibile scoprire come gli altri vedono il proprio profilo Facebook.
