Come portare il social di gMail sul desktop

Oggi parliamo di Google e delle novità legate al suo aspetto social di gMail. Come buona parte degli utenti del colosso di Mountain View sanno, il sito di web search insieme al suo pacchetto per la posta elettronica gMail, permette di avere accesso ad una serie di funzioni di social networking.

Buzz escluso, abbiamo a nostra disposizione la chat che ci aiuta a rimanere in contatto con i nostri amici sul web.
La novità è legata ai possessori del browser Google Chrome. Stiamo parlando della possibilità di attivare le notifiche sul desktop all’arrivo dei nuovi messaggi di posta elettronica, oppure passando direttamente per la chat e sulle conversazioni in corso. Il plug-in è integrato nel browser di Google Chrome.

Per poter attivare questo sistema di notifica, basterà andare nelle Impostazioni Generali di gMail ed andare nella sezione Notifiche sul Desktop. Da qui possiamo scegliere i singoli elementi che vogliamo farci norificare e salvare le impostazioni. Il gioco è fatto.
