Sono ormai tantissimi anni che esiste il social network Twitter, meno popolare di Facebook in Italia, ma che è utilizzato moltissimo dai personaggi pubblici, soprattutto in campo internazionale.

Eppure in tutti questi anni non è emerso alcun dettaglio su come modificare un tweet, non esiste insomma un tasto che permetta di cancellare quanto scritto su tale social network o semplicemente apportarne alcune modifiche. Una situazione alquanto assurda, visto che ormai ci troviamo quasi nel 2020, ma ci sono delle strade alternative su come modificare un tweet che potrebbero essere prese in considerazione qualora ce ne fosse il bisogno.

Semplici passaggi su come modificare un tweet

Se infatti dal punto di vista ufficiale non è stato inserito il tasto modifica o cancella tweet, e probabilmente non arriverà ancora per molto tempo, si può provare un escamotage utile per arrivare a ciò che si desidera. Al momento tale pratica può essere attuata esclusivamente dalla pagina web, non quindi dall’applicazione sul proprio smartphone. Un primo passo da fare su come modificare un tweet è quello di recarsi sul sito twitter.com, andare sulla propria pagina personale, cercare il tweet incriminato o semplicemente che si ha intenzione di modificare. Arrivati a questo punto bisogna selezionare con il mouse il testo che si vuole modificare e copiarlo con il tasto CTRL+C, cliccare poi sull’icona “Altro” (…), altro click sulla voce “Elimina tweet” e confermare attraverso il pulsante “Elimina”. Avviata poi tale procedura, basterà semplicemente creare un nuovo tweet incollando il testo precedentemente copiato CTRL+V con le correzioni desiderate. In questo modo si potrà modificare un tweet.

Attenzioni però alle menzioni, non saranno infatti cancellate

Sicuramente non è la stessa cosa rispetto a quanto è possibile fare su Facebook, ma questo risulta essere al momento l’unico modo per poter modificare un tweet su Twitter. Una volta che il tweet sarà cancellato, non sarà più presente sul proprio account, sulla timeline degli utenti seguiti e dai retwwet, purché però non ci sia stato in questo alcun tipo di commento. Le varie menzioni non saranno infatti cancellate, bisogna quindi in questo caso assicurarsi di essere davvero rapidi nel modificare il tweet, perché poi eventuali ricondivisioni lo renderebbero comunque pubblico. Non è sicuramente semplice capire come modificare un tweet, ma attraverso questa linea guida ci potranno essere dei cambiamenti interessanti.
