Come disattivare la localizzazione su Facebook

Far sapere ai propri amici Facebook da dove è stato scritto uno specifico post può essere tanto utile quanto divertente in diverse circostanze ma ciò non toglie il fatto che alcuni utenti possano desiderare di falsare o addirittura di disattivare questa funzione.

Fortunatamente disattivare la localizzazione su Facebook è possibile ed è anche un’operazione molto semplice ed alla portata di tutti.

Le operazioni da dover effettuare per disattivare la localizzazione su Facebook sono pochissime e risultano valide sia da desktop sia da mobile (smartphone, tablet e phablet).

Nel caso specifico della versione web di Facebook, quella accessibile da computer, per disattivare la localizzazione è sufficiente cliccare, prima di condividere un post, sulla x posta accanto alla località visualizzata nella parte in basso al riquadro dedicato alla condivisione degli aggiornamenti di stato. In questo modo la funzione di localizzazione verrà disattivata e gli amici su Facebook non visualizzeranno più da quale luogo sono stati condivisi i post.

Nel caso in cui venga utilizzato Facebook su smartphone, tablet o phablet mediante le apposite app disponibili le cose sono invece un tantino diverse. Per disattivare la localizzazione su Facebook da mobile è possibile agire in due differenti modi. Un primo modo consiste nel disattivare (in modo momentaneo o permanente) i servizi di localizzazione del dispositivo in uso accedendo alle impostazioni dello stesso. Un secondo sistema consiste invece nel ricordarsi, al momento della pubblicazione di un nuovo aggiornamento di stato, di fare tap sull’icona mediante cui è possibile indicare su Facebook il luogo in cui ci si trova e nel fare poi tap sulla x presente accanto alla località indicata.
