Come chattare su Twitter

Nel nostro tutorial su come usare Twitter abbiamo visto che è possibile comunicare sul celebre servizio di microbloging inviando dei tweet, ossia dei brevi messaggi di testo.

Nel tutorial è stata menzionata, seppur rapidamente, una funzione che consente di inviare messaggi diretti (privati) ad altri utenti. Si tratta di una feature molto interessante grazie alla quale è possibile chattare su Twitter.

Infatti, anche se Twitter non integra una vera e propria chat mette a disposizione dei suoi utilizzatori quest’interessante funzione che consente di parlare in maniera diretta e privata con gli amici.

Per scoprire come chattare su Twitter puoi quindi seguire l’apposito breve tutorial proposto di seguito.

  1. Accedi a Twitter immettendo i dati relativi al tuo account e cerca il profilo dell’amico con cui vuoi chattare.
  2. Dalla pagina del profilo del tuo amico clicca sull’icona a forma di omino posta accanto al pulsante Following e dal menu a tendina che andrà ad aprirsi clicca su Invia un Messaggio Diretto.
  3. A questo punto visualizzerai una finestra analoga a quella raffigurata nello screenshot d’esempio presente all’inizio di questo post. Ora puoi iniziare a chattare con il tuo amico digitando nell’apposito campo vuoto il tuo messaggio. Per inviarlo clicca sul pulsante Invia messaggio.

Il tuo amico riceverà una notifica e potrà risponderti utilizzando la stessa funzione non appena connesso al suo account Twitter. Anche tu quando riceverai nuovi messaggi visualizzerai delle notifiche.

Ricorda che quando chatti su Twitter non è possibile sapere, a differenza dei più diffusi sistemi di chat, quando un utente è connesso e quindi online e quando invece non lo è.

Oltre a poter chattare su Twitter sfruttando il sistema appena descritto puoi anche conversare con i tuoi amici, in forma pubblica (i tuoi messaggi vengono letti da tutti) menzionando gli utenti nei tuoi tweet ed innescando quindi un vero e proprio botta e risposta.
