Come cambiare l'username di Facebook

Tutti i profili e le pagine Facebook hanno un indirizzo unico mediante cui possono essere facilmente raggiunti e trovati da altri utenti sia sfruttando direttamente l’url specifico sia mediante i motori di ricerca.

Detta in altri termini si tratta del nome utente, più comunemente conosciuto come nickname o username.

Facebook assegna in maniera automatica un username del tipo nome.cognome. Il nome utente assegnato può però essere modificato. Per scoprire come cambiare l’username di Facebook puoi seguire l’apposito breve tutorial riportato di seguito.

  1. Accedi a Facebook immettendo i tuoi dati di login.
  2. Una volta effettuato l’accesso clicca sull’icona a forma di ruota di ingranaggio posta nella parte in alto a destra della pagina e poi fai click sulla voce Impostazioni account.
  3. Fai click sulla voce Generale annessa alla colonna sinistra e dalla pagina visualizzata clicca poi sulla voce Modifica relativa alla sezione Nome utente.
  4. Inserisci il nome utente che preferisci nella sezione Nome utente e poi fai click su Salva modifiche per confermare l’applicazione delle modifiche apportate.

Da notare che nel caso in cui il nome utente fosse già stato scelto da qualcun altro Facebook ti informerà invitandoti a scegliere un altro nickname onde evitare casi di scambi di identità rischiosi per la privacy.

Sappi anche che il nome utente può essere modificato soltanto una volta e che, così come specificato dallo stesso team del social network, deve comprendere il tuo nome reale.

Unitamente a tali indicazioni è utile tener presente anche le poche semplici regole dettate da Facebook per poter scegliere un username:

  • I nomi utente possono contenere solo caratteri alfanumerici (A-Z, 0-9) o un punto (“.”).
  • Il punto (“.”) e le maiuscole non fanno alcuna differenza in un nome utente.
  • I nomi utente devono essere lunghi almeno 5 caratteri e non possono contenere termini generici.
  • Il nome utente deve essere conforme alla Dichiarazione dei diritti e delle responsabilità di Facebook.
