Secondo le sue dichiarazioni: “Siamo l’unica azienda 2.0 quotata in Borsa che è riuscita a mettere in pratica il modello della sottoscrizione da parte degli utenti: l’80% del fatturato deriva dalla sottoscrizione del fee mensile di 5 euro, il 20% dalla pubblicità“.
I numeri reali e precisi del boom di Xing nel mercato italiano, saranno divulgati ufficialmente durante la fine di Luglio 2009, ma per come stanno andando le iscrizioni, sicuramente entro Marzo l’azienda deciderà di aprire una filiale italiana proprio perchè anche qui, nel Bel Paese, il social network sta diventando uno dei punti di riferimento per le aziende.
L’obiettivo è deciso: un anno e mezzo per diventare leader di business networking in Italia. Soprattutto superare LinkedIn, che ha riscosso un notevole successo, anche se Cipriano Moneta, non considera i due network diretti concorrenti, perchè spiega che con LinkedIn bisogna portare dentro i propri contatti, mentre all’idea base di Xing è aggiunta la possibilità di distinguere i propri contatti e trovare nuovi partner d’affari facendo ricerche mirate. Inoltre la possibilità offerta dal sito di avere sulla propria pagina iniziale quotidianamente le offerte di lavoro, lo rende sicuramente più attivo.
