La Cina ha letteralmente bannato completamente 91 siti web ritenuti volgari e aggravanti contro l’etica e politica stessa del paese. Tra i mal capitati risulta anche MSN che deve necessariamente essere ripulito dalle, così chiamate, oscenità. C’era da immaginarselo, più volte la Cina ha minacciato molti di censura per i soliti motivi. I più colpiti sono soprattutto i blog, altamente controllati e tenuti d’occhio dal totalitarismo cinese perchè sono diventati i più numerosi divulgatori di notizie online. Come mai tutta questa asprezza?

Microsoft Messenger è stato addirittura accusato di pornografia. Troppe immagini oscene sul proprio servizio ha segnalato il Colosso Orientale. A trovare i siti “sporchi” sono state sette agenzie governative che in un mese di lavoro e ricerca hanno redatto i propri rapporti allo stato. Nel banco degli imputati spuntano nomi noti come Google, Baidu e Tom online (un servizio che mette a disposizione la connessione e comunicazione skype nel paese cinese).

Tutti sono corsi ai ripari, filtrando tutti i contenuti dei propri siti e segnalando immediatamente il “lavaggio” alle autorità. Il primo a rispondere positivo è stato Tom online, dicendo espressamente di aver preso nota della presenza di contenuti non accettati e che essi erano stati immediatamente rimossi. Allo Stato cinese non sono bastate poche parole scritte in una mail, difatti è stato immediatamente messo assieme un successivo corpo speciale di ricerca che ha ancora trovato link che indirizzavano a contenuti osceni.

Come mai tale veloce risposta ad una tale censura? Semplice. La Cina è lo stato che ha il maggior numero di utenti internet nel proprio paese. Lei da sola conta 250.000.000 di internauti. Si proprio così. I primi a non aver voluti rimetterci sono stati per l’appunto Google e Baidu. Come potevano perdere un tale volume di utenza in un solo giorno? Sarà realmente solo un problema di contenuti immorali o qualche altro fattore ad indurre tali censure?
