Il primo libro di Ben Mezrich, che ha permesso di realizzare un film (di preciso il film è 21), Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions, ha dato l’idea di come si può spacciare un romanzo del tutto inventato per storia vera e fare incassi in libreria ed al botteghino. Ad oggi, l’autore sta realizzando il cast per il suo nuovo film tratto dall’omonimo testo: The Social Network.

 
La storia in se, vuole ripercorrere (più o meno brevemente) il percorso seguito dall’ormai famoso Mark Zuckerberg per creare il suo impero di Facebook.

 
Hollywood essendosi subito dimostrata entusiasta di questa iniziativa, ha subito messo a disposizione i suoi pezzi forti, ed infatti troveremo David Fincher alla regia ed il noto Aaron Sorkin, alla scrittura dello stesso.

 
Tra gli attori troviamo Jessie Eisenberg (già noto per Adentueland o per Zombieland) che interpreterà il super milionario Mark Zukerberg. Oltre a Jessie, nel cas anche Justin Timberlake che interpreterà Sean Parker, storico fondatore di Napster.
