Chiamate vocali anche su WhatsApp desktop: aggiornamento in versione beta

Sta per arrivare sulla scena un aggiornamento particolarmente importante per il pubblico iPhone e Android che utilizza WhatsApp. Per chiunque desideri effettuare chiamate sul proprio desktop, la funzione è ora disponibile in versione beta, che consente di effettuare e effettuare chiamate vocali e video WhatsApp direttamente dal desktop o laptop. Stiamo già vedendo l’opzione su tutti i nostri dispositivi, vale la pena notare che vedrai una schermata di avviso se non hai una videocamera collegata e provi a effettuare una videochiamata.

Cosa comporta l’aggiornamento per WhatsApp Desktop

Coloro che utilizzano Windows 10 vedranno anche che il sistema operativo prende il sopravvento sull’interfaccia utente della chiamata quando contatta uno dei tuoi amici o familiari. L’opzione manca anche dalle chat di gruppo, limitandola a un metodo di connessione contatto per contatto.

Già WABetaInfo aveva trovato prove che le chiamate vocali e video fossero destinate a venire su WhatsApp Web, il client di messaggistica tethered basato su browser per Windows e Mac. La versione 2.2034.7, che ti consentirà di ricevere ed effettuare chiamate WhatsApp direttamente dal client desktop, è in fase di beta test.

Naturalmente, questo non è affatto un nuovo sviluppo per i client di messaggistica. Molte alternative hanno offerto funzionalità di chiamata simili per un po ‘di tempo, ma considerando quanto è grande WhatsApp in tutto il mondo, questa è una solida funzionalità imminente.

Secondo questi risultati, anche con WhatsApp Web saranno possibili chiamate vocali e video di gruppo. Poiché abbiamo visto l’azienda di proprietà di Facebook aggiungere ulteriore supporto e integrazione ai suoi altri servizi, questo potrebbe rendere WhatsApp un’ottima alternativa a Zoom e Google Duo per le videochiamate di gruppo.

Durante una chiamata WhatsApp Web, avrai una finestra mobile che mostra lo stato della connessione corrente con un pulsante di fine chiamata e opzioni extra come la disattivazione del microfono.

Non siamo sicuri di quando potremmo vedere questa opzione in un aggiornamento stabile, ma la prospettiva di essere in grado di ricevere ed effettuare chiamate dal tuo laptop, desktop o tablet potrebbe far parte del prossimo supporto multi-dispositivo che si presume prossimamente su WhatsApp.
