Canada: una class-action contro Facebook

Nuova class action contro Facebook. L’offensiva questa volta viene dal Canada, per la precisione dal Merchant Law Group che accusa Facebook di aver gestito in maniera inappropriata le informazioni degli utenti. La querela stavolta è partita dal caso di Donald J. Woligroski, cittadino canadese residente a Winnipeg e utente registrato di Facebook. Woligroski sostiene che Facebook ha commesso nei suoi confronti una grave violazione della privacy, utilizzando le informazioni del suo profilo a fini commerciali, in una maniera che l’utente non ha esitato a definire “molesta. Ma cos’è esattamente una Class Action?

Per Class Action s’intende un’azione legale collettiva condotta da uno o più soggetti che, membri della classe, chiedono che la soluzione di una questione comune di fatto o di diritto avvenga con effetti super partes per tutti i componenti presenti e futuri della classe.

Secondo i legali, Facebook ha mostrato e adottato un approccio fin troppo disinvolto verso i diritti del querelante, e in special modo per la sua privacy. Facebook, dal canto suo, ha già stillato un comunicato dove chiarisce che si opporrà duramente a questa nuova offensiva legale, che si preannuncia tra le più dure mai rivolte contro il network.

    headline that grabbed folk’s attention? I mean Canada: una class-action contro Facebook | IoChatto is kinda boring.
    You might peek at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create news headlines to get people to
    click. You might try adding a video or a related picture
    or two to get people excited about everything’ve got to say.
    Just my opinion, it would bring your website a little livelier.
