Breakup Notifier, monitorare la situazione sentimentale degli amici su Facebook

Negli ultimi giorni, lungo l’intero web, ha iniziato a spopolare un’applicazione tutta dedicata a Facebook che, nel bene e nel male, sta facendo particolarmente parlare di sé.

Si tratta, nello specifico, di Breakup Notifier, una nuovo servizio tutto dedicato al social network per eccellenza che consente di monitorare i cambiamenti di stato delle situazioni sentimentali dei propri amici mediante la ricezione di un’apposito messaggio di posta informativo.

I passaggi da compiere per poter usufruire della funzionalità del servizio sono abbastanza semplici ed alla portata di tutti poiché, una volta aperta la relativa pagina web, tutto ciò che risulterà necessario fare non sarà altro che effettuare il login al proprio account Facebook ed indicare gli amici di cui si intende monitorare lo status sentimentale.

Breakup Notifier procederà dunque alla scansione della situazione sentimentale degli utenti selezionati con una frequenza parti ad ogni 10 minuti e, qualora venissero riscontrati dei cambiamenti, colui il quale si è prodigato nel servirsi della funzionalità offerta dall’applicazione riceverà un apposito messaggio indicante le modifiche individuate.

Considerandone dunque il suo fine ultimo, ovvero quello di badare spudoratamente agli affari altrui (e, magari, anche di approfittare della nuova situazione sentimentale), appare dunque piuttosto ovvio il motivo per cui il servizio web in questione, realizzato dallo sviluppatore californiano Dan Loewenherz, si trovi in una sorta di occhio del ciclone.

A tal proposito anche alcuni psicologi si sono prodigati nel dire la loro mettendo in evidenza il fatto che non è escluso che Breakup Notifier possa causa veri e propri stati d’ansia e di nervosismo nei suoi utilizzatori ma, ovviamente, tutto dipende dall’approccio che si ha nei confronti di tali strumenti e dei dati che ne derivano.

  48. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a
    sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the
    shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
