Facebook introduce una novità che si preannuncia molto utile e proficua per gli sviluppatori di giochi e applicazioni di terze parti presenti sulla piattaforma, ovvero la possibilità di utilizzare il contact importer direttamente dalle apps più popolari. Ma cosa fa il contact importer? Ci permette di caricare il file dei contatti dalla rubrica a Facebook, con la possibilità di invitare gli amici che non sono su Facebook ad iscriversi al network.

Le conseguenze sono semplici da immaginare. Se un nostro amico gioca a FarmVille e ha bisogno di un maialino adesso potrà inviare questa richiesta non solo ai suoi amici su Facebook, ma anche a tutti i contatti della sua rubrica email.

Il processo per importare i contatti è relativamente semplice. Dopo la richiesta di invitare gli amici di Facebook, si vedrà apparire un messaggio che recita pressappoco così: “Hai amici che non sono ancora su Facebook? Invitali a… (nome dell’applicazione)“, e l’importazione avrà inizio.
