Ci risiamo, è in corso un nuovo redesign del layout di Facebook. Ormai siamo abituati ai cambiamenti della homepage, alle continue modifiche non sempre apprezzate dagli utenti, ma pare che stavolta il cambiamento coinvolgerà altri elementi importanti del social network, come la barra di navigazione e la ricerca interna.

Un paio di screenshots in anteprima ci mostrano quali saranno le novità più importanti del Facebook che verrà, ma vediamole adesso più nei dettagli.

  • La barra di navigazione in alto è riorganizzata, e non presenta più il collegamento duplicato con il nome e il link del profilo.
  • Il campo di ricerca è messo meglio in evidenza e posizionato accanto al logo di Facebook.
  • Sulla destra è presente il nuovo menu a discesa “account”, che unisce la funzione di login/logout alle impostazioni principali per una navigazione più pulita.
  • La barra laterale di sinistra presenta ora dimensioni più ridotte, e somiglia in a quella già presente in Facebook Lite. è ridotta e prende un sacco di spunti da Facebook Lite. E’ possibile visualizzare i feeds delle notizie, gli amici, gli eventi e anche le foto.
  • Sempre nella barra laterale di sinistra, ma in basso, troviamo la sezione “bookmarks”, un elenco di segnalibri dei gruppi, pagine fan, e applicazioni preferite dall’utente.
  • La Facebook Chat si trova ancora nella barra a piè di pagina, ma i collegamenti alle applicazioni non ci sono più, e l’icona con le notifiche è spostata nella navbar principale in alto a sinistra.
