Frank, la nuova vera dei social network con limiti molto rigidi

Lo sappiamo alla perfezione che la tecnologia ha rivoluzionato la vita di tutti i giorni, basti vedere un settore come quello dell’intrattenimento online, dove giocare al casino è veramente un gioco da ragazzi e un’esperienza sicura, affidandosi ai portali che operano nel rispetto della legge. Il discorso si può tranquillamente estendere ai social network.

Tra le novità più interessanti che si sono diffuse online nel corso delle ultime ore troviamo anche il lancio di un nuovissimo social network. Come ogni altra proposta, anche in questo caso troviamo delle peculiarità davvero molto interessanti, quantomeno per gli utenti che hanno uno stile decisamente conservatore.

Il social network di cui stiamo parlando prende il nome di Frank e riguarda soprattutto i vari beniamini e sostenitori dell’ex presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump. Saranno ben poche le regole che caratterizzeranno questa piattaforma: infatti, ci sarà una libertà di parola massima e, di conseguenza, è ancora più facile individuare i vari limiti.

Frank, un’idea social nata dal fondatore di MyPillow

Tra le limitazioni che sono stati inserite troviamo ben tre parolacce, oltre che le bestemmie. Un’idea che deriva dalla volontà di uno dei più importanti sostenitori della causa Trump, ovvero Mike Lindell, colui che ha vinto due statuette per il documentario “Absolute Proof” ai Razzie Awards 2021, che ha realizzato un’azienda che produce cuscini, ovvero MyPillow, di ridare voce sul web proprio all’ex presidente degli Usa, dopo che era stato estromesso sia da Twitter che da Facebook.

Una scelta molto particolare, a partire già dal nome di questo social network, ovvero Frank. Una piattaforma che, come detto, ha delle regole d’uso molto curiose, ma anche quelle d’accesso non sono certamente da meno. Infatti, questo portale ha aperto i battenti lo scorso 16 aprile a un numero piuttosto ridotto di vip e personaggi famosi.

Quindi, pochi giorni fa è arrivato il via libera alle iscrizioni, con gli utenti che hanno la possibilità di portare a termine la registrazione e la creazione di un profilo su Frank. Questo social network è stato oggetto di uno sviluppo decisamente rapido e anche recentissimo. Infatti, tutto è iniziato a novembre, poco dopo la fine delle elezioni presidenziali che hanno sancito la sconfitta di Donald Trump rispetto a Joe Biden.

Le principali caratteristiche di questa nuova piattaforma

Al pari di quanto è avvenuto con Parler e Gab, che sono due social network da ricollegare molto semplicemente ai vari partiti di estrema destra, non fa altro che garantire una libertà di parola totale. In questo caso, però, viene inserita una regola moderatrice piuttosto curiosa, ovvero quella di evitare di scrivere su Frank le parolacce, così come le imprecazioni.

Non solo, dal momento che c’è anche un’altra regola che va per forza di cose rispettata. Ovvero, quella di non bestemmiare. Le regole parlano chiare, visto che implicano di non poter impiegare le quattro parolacce più conosciute negli Stati, ovvero quella che inizia con la f, quella che inizia con la c, quella che comincia con la n e, infine, evitare di nominare il nome di Dio invano.

Il video di presentazione del social network Frank, che è stato realizzato da parte di Lindell, non è di difficile interpretazione e spiega alla perfezione come tale moderazione si debba necessariamente applicare al linguaggio usato sul famoso social.

Senza ombra di dubbio, ci troviamo di fronte un aspetto piuttosto complicato da affrontare per i vari programmi usati di solito per la moderazione totalmente automatizzata. Infatti, hanno la capacità di individuare e rilevare le stringhe di testo predeterminate, ma al contrario non possono contare su un sistema apposito per differenziare tra espressioni che invocano il nome di Dio invano e, al contrario, delle invocazioni che sono devote al Signore.
