Breakup NotifierDue giorni fa vi abbiamo parlato di Breakup Notifier, applicazione Facebook che permette di “spiare” tra i profili degli amici e ricevere una notifica sul loro stato sentimentale. Evidentemente il popolo del social network è decisamente curioso, forse troppo, visto che l’app ha riscosso subito un enorme successo, con 3.6 milioni di utenti attivi.

Questo successo non è passato inosservato agli occhi di Facebook, che ha deciso di bloccare temporaneamente l’applicazione creata da Dan Loewenherz, a quanto pare il software viola alcune regole e condizioni d’uso del social network, inoltre Breakup Notifier consulta ad intervalli regolari la situazione sentimentale degli utenti, questa funzionalità avrebbe mandato in crash diversi server di Facebook, causando problemi, blackout e rallentamenti al sito.

Dan Loewenherz è stato subito contattato da Facebook, l’app al momento è stata bloccata, ma potrebbe tornare online molto presto, visto che il creatore si dice pronto ad assecondare ogni richiesta del social network pur di far tornare operativo il suo software.
